Tamiya M-07 Conversion for Rally Running

December 15, 2017

Have or want a the Tamiya M07? Would you like to Run it Rally style? Tamiya M cars make for a great smaller sized rally car and the latest version, the M-07, is no different. Here is a very short and simple way to do it by fellow Rally Runner Christopher Simmons. This chassis makes for a great 1/12 sized FWD Rally car.

M-07 Rally:
Remove the forward droop tabs from the rear arms.
Remove the droop tabs from the front arms.
Swap to the longer shock ends.
Add 3mm X 8mm standoffs to the steering knuckles.

You could  also measure the length shock mount to shock mount and run longer shocks instead of using longer shock ends.
